Plover Cottages offers the ideal stop-over for those travelling with pets. We offer secure self-catering units on a large fenced smallholding with plenty of space for walking and running. Pets are allowed in the units and outside enclosures are also available. We are a 3-star TGCSA graded establishment.

We have 2- and 4-sleeper equipped units and braai facilities. Supper and breakfast are also available by arrangement with continental breakfasts being stocked in the units for convenience and home-cooked suppers served piping hot at the units. All units have televisions with SABC and M-net.

Plover Cottages is situated in Glen which is 15km North of Bloemfontein and is just 800m off the N1 freeway. We have a 2 hectare smallholding in this quiet rural area with pleasant walks on and off the grounds. The nearby Modder river offers good birding and the Glen Agricultural College boasts stunning Herbert Baker design buildings.

Directions from JHB/KZN:
Stay on N1 and go through Verkeerdevlei Toll Plaza approx 70km before Bloemfontein. 38km after the  Plaza take exit 213 Glen Maselspoort offramp. Turn right towards Glen and travel 1km down the road. We are on the lefthand side.

Directions from CT:
Stay on N1 and avoid all offramps into Bloemfontein. Last one is Eeufees Rd. Stay on N1 and pass Caltex Garage on hill (right hand of N1) 8km after Eeufees Rd. Stay another 8km on N1 and take Exit 213 Maselspoort Glen offramp. Turn left towards Glen and travel 800m down the road. We are on the left hand side.

Dogs must be leashed at all times when outside. Consideration must be given to resident dogs, cats, horses, geese, goats and sheep. Charge for Pets: R20.00 per pet per day (not refundable).
