Norfolk Guest House is ideally situated within easy walking distance of all the amenities and is a stone’s throw away from the Cliff Path, famous for unforgettable whale viewing. The guest suites are individually designed to suit the needs of discerning travellers. Cosy and warm in winter while comfortably fresh and cool in the summer. Special suites cater for disability access, petfriendly, honeymooners, longer stays and relaxing breakaways. The Guest House is also directly opposite the Oncology Clinic and very close to Hermanus Mediclinic and Hospital.
Norfolk Guest House is managed by Storm Kreusch with a long and successful track record in the hospitality field. Together with her 2 cats she eagerly looks forward to making your stay comfortable and memorable.
The 5 spacious en-suite rooms are well equipped ensuring a relaxing and comfortable stay. Entrance to each suite is semi private from a short passage leading off the guest courtyard. Safe off-street parking. Park and walk is the order of the day.
Each unit extends onto a private outdoor garden area to enjoy Hermanus champagne air or typical South African barbeque. Should you prefer to mingle with the other guests there is a communal barbeque area adjacent to the swimming pool.
The swimming pool is not fenced and is therefore not suitable for young children and non-swimmers. It does however offer decadent enjoyment for sun seekers including a shady patio. (Phase 2 of Norfolk will include a bar and dining area for guests and friends). The swimming pool patio leads to a beautiful garden terrace offering the most amazing views of the mountains and a glimpse of the ocean. The garden terrace is perfect for a relaxing sundowner but also ideal for an all day experience and possible whale viewing using binoculars.

Norfolk Guest House has a library of books and DVDs which you are encouraged to enjoy during your stay.
PET POLICY: Small to medium size dogs, cats and caged birds welcome all year round. Pets sleep inside; bring own pet beds, bedding and bowls. Dogs are not allowed on the furniture and must be free of ticks and fleas. Enclosed tiled garden area dogs must be leashed at all times when outside your suite. Guests need to please clean up after their pets. The Garden patios are all tiled and there is a grassed commonage across the road. The cliff path is a block away and ideal for walking with your dog. Please do not leave your pet unattended in the suite. It is very disturbing to us all, when they frantically miss you. Consideration must be given to resident dogs and cats. Pets stay FREE. Doggie Damages Deposit required: NONE, however you will be accountable should any damages occur.
