The property has professionally built cob houses with beautiful indigenous wooden window frames, doors and counters. The houses are well insulated so remain lovely and cool in summer, and warm in winter.
Each home has its own large, fenced garden area, which is safe for pets and small children. The homes sleep 4 adults or 2 adults and 2-3 children, and they all have freestanding ceramic wood burning fireplaces.
The property boasts a pet friendly camp site with its own ablution block with separate toilet and basin. There is an outdoor shower and a kitchen area with a wash up area, and a gas geyser that supplies hot water to the bathroom and kitchen area.
There is a nature walk on the farm, where the whole family can explore the indigenous forest behind the homes.
The Wilderness Milkwood Village is 14km from the farm and has a variety of shops, restaurants, medical facilities, hairdressers and a laundry service.
The Funny Farm Shire is a special place for those wanting to slow down and rest in nature’s tranquility.
PET POLICY: All dogs, cats and caged birds welcome all year round. Pets sleep inside; bring own pet beds, bedding and bowls. Dogs are not allowed on the furniture and must be free of ticks and fleas. Enclosed garden with easy access to walks. Consideration must be shown to resident wildlife. Pets stay FREE. Doggie Damages Deposit required: NONE.
