riebeek-west-de-stal-garden-cottageSet in a historic corner of Riebeek West, the cottage has a delightfully eccentric farmyard appeal - the ideal place to unwind or use as your base in the Riebeek Valley. Once the stable and cow shed of the old house dating from 1892, the one bedroom self-catering cottage has been renovated and decorated in a rustic, quirky manner.
The restful bedroom has French doors leading out onto the stoep, a comfortable wrought iron double bed and a generous shower and separate toilet. Ideal for 2, the cottage also has a double sleeper couch in the lounge, providing accommodation for 4 in total.
The living area has a well equipped kitchen area with a small 3-plate stove with oven, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, crockery and cooking utensils. There is a TV and DVD player (no reception) and a small library of movies. Bring some with you or rent from the DVD shop in the main street.
The stoep has a 4-seater table, a built-in braai (barbecue) and a water feature stocked with goldfish.
